Haiku
*
even in the dusk
late winter mountains dripping
with the melting snow
*
lit by glowing dusk
the reflection of your house
in the wet dirt road
*
dark pines hold up the
moon and stars at needlepoint
too still to draw breath
*
round and misted moon
the smoky taste of desire
dying in my mouth
*
